The EU has recently introduced a travel restriction list to which Japan was added into recently due to the increased number of COVID infections.

The travel restriction though will depend on each individual country so please check the rules of relative country before traveling back.

Due to the lockdown in place and Japan being in their red list, the guidelines are a bit different. (Only those who are a UK citizen can return)

1. To return to the UK from Japan, you are required to submit a negative COVID test taken 3 days prior from departure.

2. A journey and contact details will also be required upon arrival.

*online form will be required and can be sent in 48 hours before your arrival

3. Also the returning citizen will be required to quarantine in a hotel and take another COVID test.
